OHH NOO she is going to fall off.

In art class, today we were in the computer lab where we use photoshop to turn a frog into a tongue. This was very difficult with all the steps and does not look very realistic.

The picture is horrible. My pot for ceramics was white with red mixed in, it had 8 handles in it, so you could not put anything in it. As I was finishing up my pot to put in the kiln for firing I picked it up and............... it BROKE! The bowl shattered into 30 pieces and no way I could fix it. My bowl was dead.

The picture above is me working on the pastel drawing. Our inspiration for this drawing was a set up in front of us it had fruit, a vase full of flowers, two bottles, a tea kettle and a background of shutters.  

On the right is my finished pastel drawing it worked and looks semi-realistic. I am exciated.

 In this picture my partner and I had to do gesture drawings to show proportions of us, correctly, and paint them "creatively". In the end it looked horrible and was really emparasing to see that our proportions of my height and my chest were horible.

The picture above is our almost finished gesture drawing. So far out of all of the projects we had to do this is the worst. I cannot draw well and the purpouse of this project did not come across to me or my partner Jana.

Here is my finished monster Kinder, for the kindergarteners in Iowa. My art 1 monster and computer art background put together what looks like a toy in a box ready to be ripped open and played with.

 

Forced perspective, going around the campus of Apex High School trying to find interesting places around our school to make us look giant or really tiny. So far this is the best art project because you do not need artistic talent to do it.

In art class one of our projects was, to make clay monsters. We got pictures that a kindergarten had created. We redrew them and made it a little bit different, so we could make them out of clay. Eventually we will paint them but right now we are waiting for them.

Our last project that we have completed is a two point perspective drawing. We took a cut out of a building and used our imagination to create the rest of the drawing. So far this is my best drawing I have ever done!!!!

   This is my finished skittles project as you can tell it is not finished. This project took a lot of skittles and I ran out, I needed more purple and green and I could not find a single puple/green anyone was not using. Plus my project lost many skittles due to the fact that someone dropped mine and could not find the skittles that went along with it. Also if anyone does this project again you should start from the face and go to the hair noth the hair to the face.

In art class we were making skittle art. Skittle art is when you have a mosaic and each little square is one skittle. This project was a great idea but it is way to time consuming I am no where done with 4 days of it. Plus if you have a huge picture like mine the more skittles you needed of one color, I ran out of a certain color twice and it is only half way done.

This piece was not very good of my skill. I do not have that much skill but I felt like it was just hard to do a good job of this

This project in art did not turn out well at all. I could not figure out how to shade good and the tracing from the original picture did not show up how it was supposed to. Since I did not know how to shade the drawing properly I could not really finish the whole entire head like the neck and shoulders. I have learned from this piece I will never do portraits of people with a pencil.

If you can tell I am a competitve dancer not an artist.

   This is me, it turned out way better than mine.
 

Our group chose sleep as our category so we decided to create the sleeping dream.  



One of my group members and I are working on the cloud of our masking tape drawing.

This project seemed a lot easier than it really was. I thought tape would be easy to use but trying to round it was very hard.
